The Freedom Method

More options. Less dependence.

Financial independence is not one lucky trade. It is a stack of skills, habits, income streams and sensible investments — built one layer at a time.

01 / RESET

Think differently

Build discipline, confidence and a system that keeps you moving when motivation disappears.

02 / EARN

Create cash flow

Find practical ways to use your skills, build a side income and earn beyond one employer.

03 / INVEST

Put money to work

Understand risk, diversification, stocks, ETFs, Bitcoin and the foundations of trading.

04 / PROTECT

Manage the downside

Build an emergency buffer, avoid emotional decisions and create rules for your capital.

05 / PERFORM

Strengthen the engine

Use fitness, sleep and routines to improve the energy behind every business and money decision.

06 / EXPAND

Design your freedom

Build a life with more control over your location, time, work and long-term direction.

You do not need to get rich overnight. You need to become harder to control.

One paycheck is fragile. One investment is risky. One burst of motivation fades. The answer is a system that compounds.

What could a 70/30 ETF split mean?

A common example assigns 70% of the equity allocation to developed markets, such as an MSCI World tracker, and 30% to emerging markets. On a €1,000 equity allocation, that means €700 and €300. MSCI World itself covers developed markets; it is not an all-country index.

This example is not Yannis's verified portfolio or a recommended allocation. Both parts contain stocks and can fall together. Bitcoin, altcoins and gold would require their own allocation within the total portfolio; they are not extra percentages added on top of 100%.

Gold does not pay dividends or interest. Its price can rise or fall, and holding costs and product structure matter. A long-term holding period does not remove investment risk.

Meet the founder / Yannis Schneider

Curiosity became a long-term pursuit.

I started investing at 18. Bitcoin caught my attention early because I saw potential in a new way of transferring and holding value.

My interests expanded into individual stocks, altcoins, ETFs such as those tracking the MSCI World, and commodities such as gold. YLS Academy brings those interests together with mindset, discipline and the ambition to build a more independent life.

My aim is to make the concepts easier to understand: what you own, why you own it and what could go wrong. This is a personal learning perspective, not a verified performance record or a promise of financial results.
